Ben brings over 10 years of architectural experience across New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Tampa, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, with a primary focus on high-end, ground-up custom residential design. His work also includes renovations, commercial gallery spaces, and temporary installations.
His design approach centers on creating spaces uniquely tailored to each client, integrating building systems with thoughtful detailing to produce environments that are both distinctive and highly functional. Ben believes successful projects are defined by clarity and restraint, where no element competes with the intended purpose of the space.
With experience working alongside a wide range of clients, he adapts his process to suit varying levels of collaboration and involvement, guiding each project with responsiveness, creativity, and precision.
Mercer Street Studio distinguishes its practice through a strong commitment to construction administration and continued involvement throughout the building process. Recognizing construction as one of the most critical phases in realizing a project's success, the studio works closely with owners and builders to carry the design intent through execution. This is achieved through a rigorous and iterative process grounded in prompt communication, site-specific thinking, and creative problem-solving.
Ben holds a Masters of Architecture from Tulane University. He is currently licensed in New York and Florida, and he is NCARB Certified which allows expedited licensure in all other states to serve clients nationwide.
